Ana de Andrés

Senior Consultant

Ana de Andrés is a leadership and organization development consultant with more than 20 years of comprehensive experience in the areas of capacity building, leadership and executive development, strategic planning, and knowledge and talent management. Ana has a proven track-record of strategy design and implementation in multicultural and complex environments, including executive and management experience in Fortune 100 and Fortune Global 500 companies, and in international development institutions. She has held Management and Executive positions at organisations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the Dannon Group and Procter & Gamble. Ana is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English and French.

Ana is an experienced consultant and executive coach as well as a speaker and researcher, who brings to the table a substantial blend of practical experience in developing dynamic, integrated solutions to complex business problems.  She has worked closely with leaders at the most senior level, and having been an executive herself, she has first hand experience dealing with the strategic dilemmas executives face.  As a researcher, she has examined topics of leadership in public service, as well as community development.

Examples of current work include:

  • Member of Team of Coaches and Facilitators implementing the Leadership Development Program for the United Nations Secretariat leaders worldwide since 2010. Since the beginning of the Program she has coached/facilitated workshops for more than 500 UN leaders globally.
  • Leadership Development Director of an Institutional Strengthening Program funded by a major European foundation for young Latin American leaders since 2010.
  • Member, since its inception, of a think tank supporting the development of powerful relationships with various stakeholders in strategic sectors in Spain, specially Education, Health and Youth. Serves as Facilitator and Coach in several projects.
  • Serves as Facilitator and Coach for the prestigious International Center for Leadership Development organized by the Spanish Confederation of Directors and Executives in Spain.  The Program is designed for senior leaders in IBEX35 companies. 
  • Coaching the senior executive team at one of the biggest Commercial Banks in Spain.
  • Participates in Leadership Development Program for school teachers in Spain and Latin America with the sponsorship of a major Foundation since 2012.

Ana holds a Master’s in International Economics and Development from Johns Hopkins University (as a Fulbright Scholar) and a Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and from “PARIS XI” University in France. She holds an Executive Coaching Certificate from Georgetown University and a Professional Certified Coach credential granted by the International Coach Federation.  She also has an Advanced Certificate in Organizational Development and HR Management from Columbia University and the University of Michigan. She has received extensive training on key leadership and organizational development tools designed by prominent thinkers.
