Jodi Paloni
Senior Coach and Principal
Jodi Paloni has worked in progressive learning communities for the past 25 years. As teacher, mentor, coach, facilitator and trainer, Jodi has initiated engaging experiences that encourage people to explore themselves and develop skills as self-directed learners and personal leaders with purpose and intention. Her passion is to be of service to lifelong reflective learning, personal and professional leadership and compassionate interactions among people around the world.
Jodi has worked with children, young adults, master educators and elders in the pursuit of providing meaningful learning experiences. Her experience has led her to private and public school systems, non-profit organizations, graduate school programs and state agencies. Her training has included human development, instructional systems design, learning styles, group process, environmental systems and research.
Specializing in the areas of building healthy teams, transforming conflict and supporting on-going personal vision planning through inquiry, compassionate communication and authentic assessment, Jodi is dedicated to customizing curriculum to customer need while attending to emergent actualities along the way. Her focus is on both individual and group learning and productivity. Jodi is the founder of Creative Currents Institute, offering personal and professional leadership development through transformational experiences. Seminars in “Leading from the Center” are designed to incorporate inquiry skills, creative process, supportive protocols for sharing and receiving feedback and planning strategies for the purpose of articulating purpose and meeting desired goals.
She holds BA and MS degrees in education and environmental studies, and a MA degree in fine arts focused on her passion for writing. Certified by both the Gestalt International Study Center and the International Coaching Federation as an executive and life coach, Jodi also brings to her work extensive training in Non-Violent Communication. She enjoys her coastal Maine lifestyle, stacks of books on her bed side table and global travel.
